Iffy-Nalysis

Inspired by Brother-Bear's study of the total points that each team of 15 will generate, I looked at what a more accurate method would show. I picked the top 6 forwards and the top 4 defensemen, and inserted the rookie appropriately. I gave Fowler 20 pts in the prediction, since my data source didn't have him rated.

The choice of 20 pts just so happens to put me on top! Also note, that the prediction is based on the spreadsheet that I used to pick my team and the 2nd half of Tim's.

Anyhoo, it looks like the method of expansion may not be fair, with the new guys with expansion teams occupying the bottom 3. Oops.

Here's to Mark, Steve, and Kerry proving me wrong! Good luck everyone.

Wow. If only I had known that every player always gets the exact same points total every year! That would have made this pool so much easier, yet completely boring.

Here's to Getzlaf breaking his femur in week one, Datsyuk rejoining the Russian circus he came from in week two, and Ovechkin's record breaking 20 goals in week 3.
