Pre-Game Routine: Road Hockey / Shinny - time and location TBA - please let me know who is in and who is just in the way
Absentees: be available by phone or provide someone with a list (sealed envelope if you don't trust the bastard)
Rules:
1. Draft order will be last to first, ties broken by coin-flip, etc.
2. In turn, each GM will have the option to:
a) drop any number of players and pick up one (1) player
b) pick-up one (1) player
c) decline
3. Salary cap penalty for each drop will be 50% of the player's salary or $0.45M, whichever is greater
4. Monetary fee for each drop will be $5. If a player is dropped on re-draft day, then the free agent pick-up is free of charge.
5. Monetary fee for the free agent pick-up $5 if no players are dropped.
6. All monies collected from the free entry draft and from drops between the entry draft and the free agent draft will be awarded to the 1st place gm(s) of the pool as at the morning of November 18, per officepools.
Example:
Nov 15
- Creepy reads on Dobber that Allison (current salary is league minimum) is going to sign with Calgary for $4M. He promptly dumps him before the deal is signed. Salary cap hit = $0.45M. Fee = $5 to be awarded to leader as at Nov 18.
Draft Day
- Milf drops hairbag Smyth (salary = $3.5M) and Brunette (salary = $0.8M). Salary cap hit = $3.5M * 0.5 + $0.45M = $2.2M. Drop fee is $10. Milf's pick-up costs nothing more.
- Leaker picks up a hairbag Smyth (or any other Oiler he wants) without a drop. Fee is $5. No salary cap penalty.
- FMJ does nothing. No fee, no penalty.
- Creepy picks up some fee agent without a drop. Fee is $5. No salary cap penalty. No fee credit for the drop on the 15th.
- etc.
- etc.
As Broker Bill suggested, the recipient of the monies buys the first round.

I am out for both the road hockey and the drinking contest/draft. More company showing up Friday...
I'll do the sealed envelope thing for my moves. Iffy - let's see how horrifically we can fuck things up this time. I predict more new rules...
My sense is that the sealed envelope thing will not be required for you MILFy. Only those who get to pick before you will have a chance to steal your ideas! Except for Leaker, those who pick before you will be few and far between ... according to my projections anyways.
