Saturday Night Tea

It is rather unfortunate that many, many of you didn't make it out to our Superdraft tea on this lovely Calgary evening.

As a side note, who would have expected that you cannot buy any porn of any kink at the Kum & Go? It's senseless and well beyond reasonability.

In the first pick, Brotherly Love Lover snagged J Carter of the Philadelphia deFylers. Who can spell predicatable? In the second pick, M Hunwick made the sad decline to the BLL team.

3rd pick overall went to Outlaws, who picked up M Koivu and dropped Gaborik. I can't believe that he gave up on Gaborik already. At least he already has it figured out who logically replaces him.

T-Rent had 4th pick. He wasted it on Clowe.

5th pick went to Creepy. He answered a long-standing question from the car pool. "Who would be dumb enough to pick up an undrafted player in this 2-year keeper league?" Tavares picked up and Laich bought out. Anyone Seen Stamkos? Uhhh Yah.

Iffy picked up T White with the 6th overall. Little White Russian eh?

Stadnicky blew the bankroll on D Booth. Of course, later in the night he tried to change the pick with a scenario that wouldn't fit within his cap. (I checked it Brad. It wouldn't have worked taking Elias and dropping Bergeron.)

Kern picked up S Koivu and dropped Brunette with the 8th overall.

Howie and Quagmire squandered their picks. No they didn't pick Flames, but it would have had the same effect.

Brotherly Love Lover followed Creepy's lead and picked up undrafted V. Hedman. Ha Ha! Seen Stamkos?

Iffy used Broker Bill's final pick to land Vlasic.

That last pick-up only makes sense if you know that Iffy traded his 2009 4th round pick to Broker for the FA pick and his 2009 6th round pick.
