Since there are no games this weekend I have updated all the "Free Agent Draft" pickups and trades for the week on Hockeypools a little early. This should give everyone a good idea of what their team looks like and who they want active.

Let me know if there are any mistakes.

Thanks guys,

Interesting to see how hardly anyone had their own original pick.

Looks like Leaker and Creeper both used my list. Bastards!

Re Morrow: Stupid NHLPA has him at 2.2 whereas his real salary is 4.1. We are changing the salary reference for next year. Our rules show that NHLPA governs unless the salary is missing. I think we have to let the Morrow pick-up stand. Changing it changes the whole draft, I think. (Actually, I know because I had him on my list.)

However, there is a problem with Creepy not dropping enough salary. The "Weekly Update" excel sheet does not properly allow for dropping more than 1 player. In Creepy's case, the buyout should be $450K per player, and he is currently over the cap. I will post something else to explain it better later tonight.

Great!

Stempniak is 1.5 so .750
Ryan @ .85 > max of .450

Thats 1.2 million no? So according to iffy's sheet thats like dropping a player of 2.4 million (enter in the sheet and i'm under..... which is even more then the 2.35 total of 1.5 and .85..... If i keep this up i can gain a lot more cap this year!

Looks like I need Tim to bail me out...
Okay iffy what am i over...What is the overage charge per week? Crappy spreadsheet M-fer.

Who the hell is Jay Blake? And why the hell is Jason Blake on my roster? I did not pick that poo-burgular!!! It was his third cousin removed, Rob Blake. R..O..B.. that I spoke of.

Conspiracy!!! I demand answers or I am threatening to take next year off to prove my point!!!

Stadnicky

You serious about this Stadnicky? I mean either pick is just about crazy enough to come from you.

I heard J Blake at the draft...If you meant Rob Blake...well the differences between J and R are fairly significant but I'll take the blame for not hearing correctly...Can we get someone who attended the draft to back up Stadnicky's pick and the change can be made!

Even though I wasn't there I would think Rob Blake makes more sense for Stadnicky. I will make the change - all drunken recounts of the Free Agent Draft are suspect at best.

i'll second the Rob Blake pick. that's who he ahd mentioned earlier when we were looking at his list

Stadnicky said...

Yeah and I'll third that brillant move by Stadnicky. I did hear him say Rob.

Serious Iffy? Naaa, not really. I just want Beer-Leaguer to get excited for next year, but now back to reality...

Oh, forgot to mention. Broker and you move up Blake and move down Bergeron?

Thanks...:)
