May your fortunes be as good as Patrick Kane's on his draft day...
Here are a few pertinent details:
1. The draft order will be based upon the results as at the end of Friday's games (tonight).
2. The order will be last to first. For ties, the team who has the most points this week will go last.
3. Please email your moves to barryott@sasktel.net by Saturday night at 8:00 pm Calgary time. It would be a good idea to give yourself a few choices, depending on when you pick. I think it's a good opportunity to practice your if-then-elseif-then-elseif-then-elsif, etc. logic. I'm thinking about writing a FORTRAN program on the mainframe.
4. It would also be a good idea to make sure your moves pass the salary cap test. Using the "Update" spreadsheet on the resources page, your moves must NOT result in any cells turning red at the bottom of the spreadsheet. If you are planning to drop a player, put his full salary in the buy-out column. I'll have the spreadsheet corrected sometime today and I'll let you know in the comments when it is so. (I think Leaker and FMJ have an error or two.)
5. If you don't send a move to Barry via email at the deadline, you will not be given another opportunity.
