Draft day notes

Members of superdraft 20xx, hockey fans, and supportive wifes,
I have gathered a few notes to aid fellow drafters before the big draft. Please take some time and review the following important information.

Let’s answer all the main questions first:
Morozov is not staying in Russia, Selanne will probably play on October 5th and Jason Allison is about to sign with Atlanta (from a good source).
Lindros will likely play like he never had his head down this year, and came to camp in the best shape of his life.

And here are some secondary notes:
Everyone with a last name of Hall is on a tryout in Pittsburgh.
Players to rely on this season include Forsberg and O’Neill and maybe Downie (see highlights from Ottawa game) if you need a depth guy with a mean streak, but their prices had better be rock bottom.
Forsberg is rumored to be heading to either Edmonton or Vancouver for October 15th.
Berard has signed with the Islanders and will QB the PP.
Cam Ward is playing fwd!
Wayne is rumored to suit up for some pp time this season for phoenix home games.

And finally some draft strategy:
-think, what would iffy do....
-pick depth before top 50
-rookies are not a factor, if you get 5 or 50 points it really doesn't matter
-6f and 9d is your key (easy to remember this one, it rhymes)
-don't forget, goalies get points too!

I hope those little tips can lead you in the right direction on friday, Good luck everyone!

We may have to implement a new tag "Classic", because this post was awesome!

And what's with the watermelons?

when life gives you watermelons, make watermelonade?

Awesome tips Barry, follow that strategy and John Tavares will be yours next year!

The first "draft strategy" tip was actually pretty good.

what would iffy do....

don't feel like making a 50GB spreadsheet that pulls in stats from millions of sources in real time. But if Iffy wants to share his hard work I would gladly take him up on it...
