Well, with the 24th fast approaching I figure I better make some picks (I am assuming the following haven’t retired, etc… in the off season – someone let me know if they have PLEASE!!!).
Sidney Crosby - $0.85 mil
Mats Sundin - $7.6 mil
Chris Drury - $3.154 mil
Paul Mara - $3 mil
Joni Pikanen - $2 mil
Sundin’s salary is a little hard to swallow, but when you compare him to Martin Havlat he actually doesn’t look toooo bad. 10 players and $24.5 mil still left to spend – should be interesting.

Savard ain't gettin' no love? In my 'try to trick a gm post', I had Murray keeping all of your picks but Sundin!
I think Kovalchuk helped Savards numbers last year. It will be hard for him to repeat those numbers in Boston IMHO. That's my quess anyway...
blah... The more I think about it the more sick I get, a $7.6 hit to keep Sundin is painful. But the alternatives aren't much better.
I have a feeling there could be quite a few highpriced players unprotected going into the draft.
you don't have to keep 2 top 50 .. don't know if this helps you
buddy, you better get rid of Crosby, word is he is gonna be a flop....hmmm, wonder who has the first round pick?
Sorry Tim. Crosby is going to stay put this year. You might have to pick up Malkin instead - assuming he learns how to take a hit...
